There are literally hundreds of places to get your Christmas tree. Tis the season where you can’t drive down more than two streets without seeing a tree lot. Many charities have Christmas tree lots where they fund their great work through the sale of trees. Utilize one of those if you can!
However, if you would love a fresh, natural tree… you can travel to the forest… find a tree you like, cut it down and take it home to decorate!
I thought this was something that only happened in movies, but it can happen right here in Florida! We cant do the snowy part, but we can get a 3 to 15 foot Sandy Pine at Ocala National Forest. The haven’t published fees yet, but compared to a Tree for the tree lot, it’s pretty cheap. Not to mention the fun adventure aspect of it!
