Atlantic Hurricane Season begins June 1st! The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has its yearly predictions.
They are predicting a “Near Normal” hurricane season with between 12 and 17 named storms. Out of those, anywhere from five to nine storms could develop into hurricanes. Now out of that, they’re predicting one to four of them will category three or higher.
Atlantic Hurricane season runs through November 30th.
