Florida People… am I right? This story is actually pretty coo. A professor from the University of South Florida just broke the world record for time spent living underwater.
Its been 74 days. Just to clarify, he’s not actually in the water. He’s 30 feet underwater, down in Key Largo, in their Undersea Lodge. It seems to be like a submarine (but with home like amenities). Either way, he hasnt seen the surface in a long time! The professor says he wants to stay under for atleast 100 days because he still has some research that he needs to finish up while he’s down there.
What he misses most about being on the surface…. seeing the sunrise!
