Sister Jean

An older woan in a wheel chair on a baseball field throwing out a pitch

A few years ago, the basketball team from Loyola made a deep run in the March Madness Tournament. They made it all the way to the Final Four! The Chaplain of Loyola University is Sister Jean. She was 90 something a the time, but went to every game, prayed over every player and became a TV Superstar!

She is now 104 years old and is proving that age aint nothing but a number! She just threw out the ceremonial first pitch at a Major League Baseball game this week in Chicago. She even threw a decent pitch… even from her wheelchair!

Loyola is hosting a black party in her honor!

Here is a person who has spent her life devoted to being a chaplain at a University. She is faithful and steady in her faith and in how she treats others.
