As you know, The Promise loves local businesses… after all, we are a local Jacksonville business… so as we bring Women’s History Month to a close, we have another local Jacksonville woman owned business to highlight.
Nana Hammond and her family moved from London nearly 15 years ago. She is a natural entrepreneur… she wasn’t thrilled with the quality of bread here, so she decided to make her own.
Nana started selling her bread at weekly local markets but found the demand hard to keep up with. What began as a hobby has transformed into a full-blown family business.
Now Nana is the owner and head chef of Jax Bread Company on Baymeadows Road off Phillips Highway. They bake all kinds of bread and morning pastries… sandwiches… lots of great stuff!
Try them out, maybe get something special for Easter. Jax Bread Company on Baymeadows just East of Phillips Highway. Support your local Jacksonville Business.
