Dr. Willie Brown, senior pastor of Next Generation Church, is a retired Naval Officer awarded the Bronze Star for setting the record for the most missions rescuing wounded military personnel in the Iraq war.
He joined the Navy immediately after high school and took advantage of the military’s educational opportunities earning his Master’s and later promoted to the officer corps. He also later obtained his Doctorate degree and has a self-published book on Christian discipleship
